Postup -Donja Banda is a famous (first -class) wine with geographical origin, produced of the grape sort Plavac mali from the site Postup on the slopes of the peninsula of Peljesac. It has a full, harmonious aroma and is considered one of the best wines. For it's quality and properties it was awarded the highest prizes at many national and international wine fairs such as: Grand Prix 1969, Gold Medals 1970, 1974 and 1987 and it was declared the champion of quality in 1988 at the International Zagreb Fair.

It conatins13.5% vol. of alcohol, 27-45 gr/l of total extract and 5-6.5 gr/l of total acids. It is best served with venison, grilled fish and red meat specialties at room temperature between 18 and 22`C.
